According to actor/producer Dennis Burkley and long-time friend of Peter's for over twenty-years, Peter Barton is married, has a child, and now lives in New York City.  He has acted in two indepedent films since 2000.  Peter Barton's latest project was a movie called, "REPETITION", which was in 2005.  Producer Dennis Burkley hired Peter for the movie and to play Terry Goldtein.  It was shown at the Appalachian Film Festival.  It took third place at the film festival. 

Peter also did a movie in 2000 that was called A MAN IS MOSTLY WATER.  It was an Indie film.  Unfortunately, this film was given bad ratings by some film critics, but that didn't stop Peter Barton from moving on to his latest movie REPITITION in 2005, which won third place.  Peter Barton has also been rumored to be in the fitness field, but this information is untrue.  

Peter Barton now lives in New York City, but still has a home in Los Angeles, California.  His has lived primarily at his California home since December of 1989.  It is a modest two bedroom/two bath residential condominium.  Peter Barton also has a home in Long Beach, New York reportedly since September 2001.  It is speculated that this home is where his new wife and child recently moved, no doubt to be closer to his family.  Peter Barton is also still under contract with an agent, but this information is confidential and cannot be listed here without prior consent.  His agent resides in California as well. 

NOTE:  All information regarding Peter's recent marriage, child, and move to New York City is based upon information obtained from actor/producer Dennis Burkley.  I am at the mercy of outside sources in regards to current information about Peter Barton.  As we already know, Peter doesn't act often and doesn't get in to the acting or Hollywood scene much anymore.  Therefore it is extremely hard to find information about this out-of-the-limelight actor.  I do consider Dennis Burkley a reliable source of information.  They did do a movie together not long ago called Repetition.  Also, they had been friends for over twenty-years.  Peter also took acting classes from Dennis Burkley in the past.  It wasn't until Peter moved away to New York City that Dennis lost touch with Peter.  Of course that is understandable how thousands of miles can do that between friends.  I leave each person to conclude whether or not they wish to believe or dismiss this information.  I have contacted Peter's agent but thus far have not received a confirmation or a denial of it's legitimacy.
